EDP Sciences signed an agreement to preserve Journals with Portico (April 2015)

EDP Sciences is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with Portico to provide a permanent archive of the e-content for many of their key journals. Through this agreement, institutions participating in Portico’s E-Journal Preservation Service will be assured continued access to EDP Sciences content for generations of their scholars in the future.

Current data will be sent to Portico as soon as the e-journal is published, and a full list of the journals committed to the Portico archive is available at http://www.portico.org/digital-preservation/who-participates-in-portico/participating-publishers/edp.

15th Congress of ACAPS – October 2013

The 15th Congress of Association des Chercheurs en Activités Physiques et Sportives (ACAPS) took place from October 29 to October 31, 2013 on the campus of the UFRAPS in Grenoble. It is organized by the joint Structure Fédérative de Recherche on "Sport, Exercice, Motricité" between the Université Joseph Fourier Grenoble 1 (UJF) and the Université de Savoie (UdS), that gather teachers and researchers from various laboratories.

Title change for Science & Motricité! (December 2011)

Science & Motricité changes its title to Movement & Sport Sciences – Science & Motricité in January 2012.

Science & Motricité changes to improve quality and international visibility. First the title of the journal changes to Movement & Sport Sciences – Science & Motricité. The journal publishes papers either in French and English, and its Scientific Committee is enlarged to an international audience.

Movement & Sport Sciences – Science & Motricité publishes four issues a year, mainly special issues. Each special issue offers a compilation of papers related to a particular theme, and is entrusted to a guest editor. The aim of these special issues is to propose an overview of international research in a particular area. The journal, however, continues to publish original papers, grouped in regular issues.

E-first available for Movement & Sport Sciences - Science & Motricité (August 2011)

Thanks to our new E-first service, there is no longer any need to wait for the printed or on line issues of Movement & Sport Sciences - Science & Motricité.

Using DOIs, articles are available on line as soon as they have been proofread by the author. On E-first the articles are published in their final form. E-first is not a pre-print service. Articles are peer-reviewed and author corrected.
